The Love Story Journal: Multidimensions is an interactive augmented reality diary designed for the broken hearted to break their hearts open through “Artist-Inspired Journaling.” By leveraging the power the mystery of Love revealed in 1 Corinthians 13:12, “For now we see a reflection, as in a mirror….” one is able to discover their own narrative in the intimate, authentic, and raw pain to passion stories of other people who have transformed pain into passion.
The Love Story Journal is designed to inspire, encourage, and hold space for the broken hearted so they may transform their pain into passion, choose self expression over self-destruction, and transform personal tragedy into The Love Story.
The Love Story Journal is an interactive journal designed by The Love Story Media, Inc., a 501(c)3 non-profit organized based in Santa Monica, California whose mission is to take away the stigma of depression and lower suicidal ideations for those going through heartbreak.
The Love Story Journal: Break Your Heart Open Campaign aims to inspire hope for 1,000 people suffering from love loss. Those who going through loss will experience the five stages of grief–shock, denial, anger, depression and acceptance. Our goal is to hold space for all these emotions through the art and craft of artist-inspired journaling.
By leveraging the mystery of love revealed in 1 Corinthians 13:12, “For now we see a reflection, as in a mirror…” The Love Story Journal is designed for the journal-artist to reflect on their past by journaling it into story, activated by the intimate, authentic, and raw shares of artists who have transformed their pain into passion and are willing to share their pain, process, and journey.
We believe it is important to journal truth of one’s past so the truth can offer itself as a medicine for the present. We also believe that journaling will help the journal-artist develop their direction in knowing one’s pursuit, passion, and purpose in the journey of transforming heartbreak into creative expression.

The Power of 13
Our goal is to bring 1,000 journals to the hands of 1,000 journal-artists who are ready to transform their heartbreak into creative expression.
20% of the proceeds from this journal will be used to fund the 13 x 13 x 13 in 13 weeks program. 13 unique Artist’ pain to passion stories with 13 showcases and 13 “reflections” peer to peer journaling groups that fuse artist-inspired journaling with fiction, based on a true ____ journal entries rolled out simultaneously in 13 weeks.
The 13 x 13 x 13 in 13 weeks is in honor of the 13 verses that define love in 1 Corinthians 13.
If we don’t reach our goal, we will still be delivering the journals into the hands of journal-artists who have ordered. 80% of the profit will go towards royalties distribution for all the creatives that have invested their time, talent, and tithing to this project. 20% of the profit will go towards the next production.
Holding space and Compassion for the Broken hearted:
Heartbreak is one of the most undermined painful experiences that gets hidden, dismissed, or suppressed. We often underestimate just how painful the process of going through heartbreak actually is. We believe that depression is suppressed expression of the heart. Thereby, The Love Story Journal serves as a creative space to reveal that which is concealed.
The Love Story Media, Inc. has been in operation since 2016. Since then, we have produced over 60+ interviews, published 4 Journals, produced 5 live interactive showcases, and our publication has been seen by over 100,000 unique visitors worldwide since our inception.
We offer free DIY Artist-Inspired Journaling on our online publication, www.thelovestory.org, and we are offering free Artist-Inspired journaling techniques to tell the truth in fiction. Your contribution will help us produce more artist stories, invest in more grass roots peer to peer journaling workshops, and support local artists by producing more interactive showcases.
Risks & Challenges
One of the biggest challenges we have in our organization is marketing. Because we are currently entirely self-funded and base 100% of our efforts on in-kind donations from contributors throughout the United States, one of the biggest challenges is consistent marketing. By getting this campaign funded, 20% of the proceeds will go towards running the production for the next 13 Artist Stories, 13 peer-to-peer journaling groups, and 13 local interactive showcases.
What qualifies us to overcome this experience is our team of talented contributors. We have secured a Google Adwords Grant, and we have passionate contributors who want to help spread the word through digital marketing.
We also have our sponsors, WayUp and Volunteermatch, to help us recruit interested college students and recent college graduates, to take on the three different initiatives (multimedia storyteller, showcase producer, and journal-artist producer) all in a collective effort to experience the pain to passion process through our non profit work.
